my Experience
I’ve been in the business, advertising, branding, and marketing game for a long time now. Since both of my parents work in these industries, I grew up hearing their marketing-related conversations and visiting their agencies and advertising companies. I even helped my parents with marketing campaigns which were targeted to kids my age. I believe growing up in an entrepreneurial environment like that shaped my passion for business and the communication of ideas.
After my graduation of the German School in Guatemala, I did a marketing internship at Taco Bell. This was mas first taste in the real marketing and business world and I loved it and decided I wanted to do that for a living.
I then moved to Germany to study at the University of Hamburg where I successfully finished my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing. During those years in Hamburg, I did two more internships and worked as a part time student in two different companies.
The first marketing internship was at PHAT CONSULTING GmbH, a company that specializes in IT-Consulting and Security solutions. The second one was at Lufthansa Technik AG in corporate marketing. This was a very interesting time since I worked at the highest marketing and communications level in the company, and got the insides of how a company with over 30,000 employees and a yearly revenue of over 5 Billion Euros operates.
I also worked at Market Pioneers, an online marketing Start Up based in Hamburg. We focused on building websites and selling processes for or clients. I also managed the social media and online marketing campaigns for several clients.
Then, I worked for the second time for Upljft GmbH. One of the biggest Social Media Marketing Agencies in Hamburg. The first time I worked as a Community Manager for the DFL – Bundesliga. Then, I worked as a media buyer for all relevant social media channels. I managed campaigns for several companies across social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and many more.
Then I worked for a year at Unilever Germany as an E-Commerce Manager focusing on Amazon Advertising and was responsible of a multiple-figure-budget. I managed the strategy for all of the different categories and their products on Amazon.
Now, I’m working as an Associate Product Marketing Manager at Google Germany focusing on YouTube Ads in the B2B sector.
Moreover, I’ve done some projects on my own. Together with my theoretical and practical knowledge, and a relentless entrepreneurial mindset, I’ve successfully done consulting for a few clients, created over 10 websites, started my own Marketing & Business Podcast, wrote a Marketing Book, and earned money through E-commerce and online marketing.
Now, I also help people and business like yours grow with the help of online marketing, communication, and strategy. I offer a range of services that will help you take your company to the next level.
